I posted a new photo gallery with some of my favorite shots taken over the past couple weeks. There's a nice variety of stuff there, from trains to trees. You can view it here.

Well, I finally did it. I built a real website. A few random notes and thoughts:

• The color scheme is substantially different than any site I've ever designed for myself. I usually use lots of blues, greens, and whites (e.g. my helios website). This design was inspired by black and white photography, one of my favorite hobbies.
   
• This site was built from scratch using PHP, sqlite3, Javascript (with the prototype framework), and JSON (instead of XML). It has a cool little AJAX driven backend for managing posts. It also generates photo galleries on the fly.
   
• I added a list of computer related projects I'm currently working on.
   
• I plan to start migrating my old galleries to this site soon.
